Who we are
Bransford Electrical & Mechanical Services, Inc. is a long-standing electrical and mechanical company based in Lafayette, Tennessee — fully insured and licensed in Tennessee and multiple states. The business is owned and operated by Phillip Bransford and his wife, Cynthia.
Founded in the early 1950s by Phillip's father after he returned from the Korean War, where he served as an engineer.
Phillip began helping his father as a teenager — weekends and summers — then came on full time after graduation and took over full operation.
The business began with plumbing and later expanded into air conditioning. After Cynthia joined in 2015, it continued to grow.
Service and installation for residential and commercial customers across the Lafayette area.

Randel was more than a valued team member; he was a pillar of the community and a model of hard work and character. A proud veteran who later served as Mayor of Red Boiling Springs, he led with integrity and heart — and his legacy of commitment is remembered and cherished by the Bransford team.
