A straighter smile — without the hassle of braces

Crooked or misaligned teeth affect more than looks; they can affect your confidence and your oral health. Clear aligners straighten discreetly and comfortably, and they're removable for eating, brushing and flossing.

At Oxford Dental you can choose Invisalign®, or our own Oxford Clear Aligners — 3D-printed for a precise, comfortable fit. Treatment typically takes 6–18 months depending on your needs, and flexible payment options, including 0% financing through CareCredit, can spread the cost.

  • Nearly invisible — most people won't notice you're wearing them
  • Removable — eat, brush and floss as normal
  • Custom-planned — your treatment is mapped out before you start

Dentistry your kids will actually look forward to

Creating a positive environment early helps children value their oral health as they grow. Our pediatric care in Oxford focuses on stress-free visits for young patients — and on earning the trust of their parents, too.

Young patients finish their visit with a trip to our “secret drawer” of fun rewards, like fidget spinners and light-up toys. It's a small touch — but it's the kind of detail families remember, and one reason parents tell us their children are actually excited to come back.

  • Known by name — patients say the team knows them and their family personally
  • Confidence-building — gentle hygienists who are great with nervous children
  • Community-minded — Dr. Morrison has volunteered with “Give Kids a Smile”

Proudly serving Oxford since 1975

Our commitment to this community runs deep. As a family-owned practice, we're grateful for the trust Oxford families have placed in us for nearly five decades — and honored to have been voted the Best Dental Office in Oxford, recognized among the “Best of Oxford,” and named a Best Dental Office by Parents of Ole Miss.

What keeps patients coming back — and bringing their children and grandchildren — is simple: professional care that still feels personal. You'll be greeted by name, given a tour if it's your first visit, and told clearly what treatment you need, what it costs, and what your options are, before anything begins.

  • No surprises — treatment and payment options explained up front
  • Modern & comfortable — state-of-the-art technology in a welcoming office
  • People first — trusting friendships with patients, for a lifetime of healthy smiles

Dr. Sam Morrison

D.M.D. · Dentist

A proud Oxford native, Dr. Morrison deeply values serving the community where he grew up. His love of helping others, working with his hands and finding innovative ways to achieve the best result drives his practice: “Every smile I help create or restore brings immense satisfaction, knowing I've made a positive impact.” He served as a teaching assistant for undergraduate endodontics and has volunteered with “Give Kids a Smile.”

No insurance? You still have options.

Every patient deserves a confident smile — and cost shouldn't be the thing that stops you getting care.

Our membership plan

Oxford Dental's own membership plan is built around a simple idea: proper preventive care now helps minimize your chance of needing major dental work in the future — and poor oral health and gum disease are linked to diabetes, heart disease and stroke.

As a member, you receive top-quality dental care planned around your health — not procedures dictated by an insurance company. Ask our team how the plan works and whether it fits your family.

  • Prevention first — regular care that protects your long-term health
  • Care on your terms — treatment decided by you and your dentist
  • For the whole family — ask about membership when you book

Flexible ways to pay

We offer flexible payment plans and financing options to make top-quality dental care accessible:

  • Financing through CareCredit
  • 0% financing options, including on emergency care
  • Clear costs explained before treatment begins
  • No-pressure plans — take the time you need to decide

Questions about cost? Call (662) 234-5222 and we'll talk it through.

“The staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Swaney is a great dentist and the nicest person. He truly does everything possible to make your smile beautiful and to make you feel good about yourself. Questions, answered

Anything else on your mind? Call us on (662) 234-5222 — a real person will help.

Yes — always. Whether you're new to Oxford, haven't seen a dentist in years, or just want a practice that knows you by name, we'd love to welcome you. Call (662) 234-5222 or send the booking form below.

Absolutely. Our membership plan is designed for patients without insurance — it focuses on preventive care and means your treatment is decided by you and your dentist, not an insurance company. We also offer flexible payment plans and financing through CareCredit, including 0% options.

Treatment times vary, but typically range from 6 to 18 months depending on your needs. At your consultation we'll evaluate your smile, customize a plan, and give you a realistic timeline before you commit to anything.

Don't panic. Go back to your previous set of trays to hold your progress, and call us — a replacement can set treatment back a week or two, but we can keep you on track. To avoid a repeat: always carry your aligner case, never wrap trays in a napkin (that's how they get thrown away!), and always save your previous set.

Call us straight away on (662) 234-5222. Immediate attention matters with a severe toothache, a knocked-out tooth or an injury to the mouth, and our team works hard to fit emergencies in — patients tell us we've squeezed them into the schedule the same day they called. Emergency care is family-friendly, and 0% financing is available so cost doesn't delay treatment.

Yes — children are a big part of our practice. We focus on positive, stress-free visits that build confidence early, complete with a “secret drawer” of rewards like fidget spinners and light-up toys after their appointment.

Yes — same-day crowns are one of Dr. Phillips' specialties. Your crown is designed and fitted in a single appointment, so there's no temporary crown and no second visit to finish the job.

We're at 2155 S Lamar Blvd, Oxford, MS 38655 — in the heart of Oxford. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm; we're closed Saturday and Sunday. We also serve families from Water Valley, Batesville, Bruce and Holly Springs.
